Chamber of Becoming dungeon, Mammon

Sariel the Endless is one of nine Shells in Mortal Shell 2 — the body the Harbinger occupies, and the one slot a weapon cannot make up for. Its active is Exodus of Thorns. Its passive, Purge, runs for free. The skill tree holds twelve nodes across four tiers, opened by spending Glimpses at the Shellkeeper. You claim it in Chamber of Becoming dungeon, Mammon.

That path to perfection is paved with blood.

Abilities

ActiveExodus of ThornsSariel expels parasitic thorns that hunt nearby enemies, inflicting Curse stacks. Each activation inflicts Pain on Sariel.
PassivePurgeWhen Sariel has no Pain, 50% of any incoming damage becomes Pain. When Sariel is at max Pain, Sariel dodges faster.

Our take

Sariel runs a second health bar with the sign flipped, and everything on her kit pushes it up. While she is holding no Pain, Purge turns half of an incoming hit into Pain instead, and every activation of Exodus of Thorns puts more Pain on her to spread Curse around her — so the Shell charges you in the same currency whether you are being hit or attacking. At maximum Pain you dodge faster, which is the reward for having filled it. Highest ceiling here, and the least forgiving floor.

Skill tree

Spend Glimpses at the Shellkeeper to raise this Shell's bond and open the next tier. Every node takes several levels of its own, so the tree is a question of what to finish rather than what to reach — and the last level of a node is usually where its effect changes rather than merely grows.
