Untarnished Seal is one of four Seals in Mortal Shell 2, and the Seal slot is what decides how you answer an incoming attack. It grants Guard. Given with Harros the Vassal in the Prologue.

Effect
Block incoming attacks with your Weapon. Time it right to Perfect Guard and deal Break Damage.
Our take
The Seal the prologue gives you, and the one to keep until a moveset stops surprising you. Guard costs Guard Energy on every block, so it is forgiving of bad timing but not of bad discipline — empty the bar and you are stunned where a Parry build would simply have been hit.
