Thestus is an NPC in Mortal Shell 2, found at Marrow Keep.
Our take
The one figure in Marrow Keep who changes the world instead of selling you something: he stands at the top of the tower and turns the day to night. He is not the whole switch, though — the lantern up there is what the Gloombound Flame is for, and the stones that are only sold after dark say the Flame is what night mode costs. Between them, a climb nobody asks you to make is the entry point to four Tarstones.
