Clockwork Shardstone is an Ability Tarstone in Mortal Shell 2, and it slots into a weapon. One weapon accepts it. It levels to 4 at the Tarforge in Marrow Keep, once Franz has the Etching Needles. Chest behind the bookshelf in the Alchemist's Workshop.
Effect
Drains Resolve continuously to keep a chainsaw turning, and every attack lands with it spinning.

Our take
Draining Resolve over time rather than spending it in one go inverts the usual maths: this stone punishes you for standing still and pays you for staying in contact. The Clockwork Scythe takes it and the Scholar's Wormstone both, which is as close to a dedicated build as a weapon gets here.
