Getting started

Overview

From the station, choose a Sophie region and whether you want Storm Dive or Voyage. Storm Dive is the timed competitive raid with rotating extractions; Voyage is the open-world loop for farming scrap when you're broke or learning the map.

Solo players often queue into a full party slot by mistake — check the party size before you launch. You can crew someone else's Trampler as a deckhand without owning a chassis yet.

Your starting Trampler is free and enough for your first extractions. Keep the layout minimal: one reactor, steering console, captain station and a small cargo tile. Browse the chassis to compare build space, and the build rules for hard compartment caps.

Scrap in your station wallet, researched faction unlocks and blueprints you've learned stay between runs. Gear on your person and cargo in your Trampler only return if you extract successfully. Treat every outing as risking everything you're carrying.

Dig buried treasure mounds in Voyage for safe starter scrap. Check extraction sites for guaranteed energy rods. When you're ready for higher risk, browse the rare spawns reference and cross-link any item page for POI and landmark hints.
