Capture & destroy
Overview
Disabling compartments knocks systems offline but the crew can repair and respawn at the captain's quarters. To permanently remove a Trampler from the match, destroy the reactor (the smoking exhaust weak point) or eliminate the captain tile after boarding.
A destroyed reactor drops a black box — high-value PvP loot that sits right under the wrecked reactor. The black box only drops from a destroyed reactor; boarding to capture a rig intact wins its cargo and compartments instead.
Armor spots, crew quarters spread across decks and a compact reactor footprint make boarding harder. See the build rules for the compartment caps that shape a survivable layout.
