Blade Dance Shadowstrix
Dual Blades is the Shadowstrix branch that can lose the opener and still win. Bloody Blade Dance raises damage after it hits, Dual Blade hits stack a separate damage buff on top, and Wound stacks build on the target while both run. None of it is burst — it is three timers that all start when you make contact.
Skill bar4 of the branch’s skills
- Bloody Blade DanceDual Blades
The channel the branch is built around, and its talent raises damage after each hit.
- Fang RushDual Blades
Refunds dodge energy after use, so the channel is not a stationary commitment.
- Flurry StrikeDual Blades
Retreats then dashes back in, which is how you reset spacing without leaving the target.
- Spinning SlashDual Blades
The one Super Armor in the branch — the answer to being pushed off mid-channel.
Talents that matter6 trees back this branch
Not a full tree — these are the points that change what the build does rather than adding a percentage to it. Fill the rest of the tree in whatever order your level allows.
- Bloodthirst FrenzyBloody Blade Dance Enhancement
Bloody Blade Dance raises Physical Damage after it hits — the first of the three ramps.
- Battle FrenzyAccumulated Damage Arcana
Dual Blade hits raise Dual Blade damage. The second ramp, and it stacks with the first.
- Wound BuildupAccumulated Damage Arcana
Wound stacks build on the target while you stay on it.
- Wild SlashBloody Blade Dance Enhancement
Sword Aura recovers Energy on hit, which is what pays for staying in the channel.
- UnstoppableSpinning Slash Enhancement
Super Armor on Spinning Slash, so a knock does not cost you every stack you built.
Affixes to roll for
In priority order. Affix rolls are random, so treat this as what to keep rather than what to expect.
- StrifeOffensive
Melee weapon damage, applied across a very high number of small hits.
- FervorOffensive
Damage that stacks after hitting — the affix that matches this branch's whole shape.
- Increased Stamina Recovery SpeedUtility
The channel is Energy-bound; recovery speed is the constraint that actually binds.
Dual Blades weaponshighest combat value
Pulled from the catalog by combat value, not picked by hand — a new dual blades shows up here on the next import.
How to play it
- Contact first, damage second. Every buff here starts on the first hit, so a slow approach is a slow ramp.
- Fang Rush into Blade Dance — the dodge refund is what lets you channel without being punished for it.
- Hold Spinning Slash for their commit, not for damage. Losing the channel loses all three ramps at once.
- Do not disengage while stacked. This build's worst moment is starting over.
Don’t take this if
You want to pick targets out of a group. This branch has to stand in the fight, and it has one Super Armor to do it with.
