Usagi Shima: All 36 Bunnies and Keepsakes

  3. Special bunnies
  4. Keepsakes

The goal is to reach 10 hearts with every one of the 36 bunnies in Usagi Shima: Bunny Island, because each bunny gives you a keepsake at that point. This page lists what makes each bunny visit, its personality, its three favorite toys and its keepsake, as of the 29 October 2026 update.

Bunnies relax around a thatched stall and a hot spring pond in Usagi Shima: Bunny Island.

In short: 22 regular bunnies show up by themselves once your island has items on it, and 14 special bunnies need something extra first.

Spoiler note: the Keepsake column in the bunny tables names every gift, so skip it if you want the surprise.

How the Bunbook works

The Bunbook is the in-game journal with one page per bunny.

EntryWhat it does
PersonalityA line of background about the bunny. It has no effect on gameplay.
Friendship statusSet by hearts, see the table below.
VisitsHow many separate times the bunny has come to your island.
ResidentOffered once you are besties. A resident stays until you evict it, and you can have 5 at a time.
Favorite toys3 per bunny, shown once the bunny plays with each. No effect on gameplay.
KeepsakeThe gift from the bunny at 10 hearts.
HeadwearLets you change the bunny's hat. Some bunnies cannot wear hats at all.

Friendship and hearts

One heart is 20 friendship points, and friendship never goes down. A caretaking activity such as a bun run or brushing earns 5 points, and petting earns 3. Reaching 10 hearts means 200 points, or 40 caretaking activities if you count nothing else.

HeartsFriendship status
0 to 1Stranger
2Acquaintance
3 to 5Friend
6 to 9Good friend
10Bestie

Higher friendship gives bigger tips and a better chance that a tip is a golden carrot. It also raises the odds that the bunny asks for a caretaking activity.

Regular bunnies

Regular bunnies have no requirement. They can drop in at random as long as something is placed on your island, and a fuller island attracts more of them.

The 22 regular bunnies are Tomo, Button, Yuki, Yuzu, Mochi, Peppo, Cream, Peaches, Tiger, Himari, Mameko, Sesame, Panda, Peanut, Momo, Coco, Lulu, Daisy, Maru, Taro, Celeste and Leo.

Special bunnies

A special bunny only visits while its requirement is met. Once you make it a resident (offered at 10 hearts), the requirement no longer applies. Before that, it matters for the visits. Otherwise they work like regular bunnies.

The 14 special bunnies are Kinoko, Poppy, Moose, Dotty, Panko, Mofu, Boo, Ebi, Mugi, Cloud, Buttercup, Toshi, Maron and Blossom.

Item lists for Kinoko and Poppy

Big Mushroom, Wheelbarrow, Flower Basket and Bell Blossoms are keepsakes, so these lists spoil four gifts.

Kinoko's mushroom items are Mushroom Houses, Mushroom Seats, both Mushroom Lamps, Mushroom Clusters, Mushroom Trees, regular Mushrooms and Big Mushroom, which is Kinoko's own gift.

Poppy's flower items are Daisies, Chrysanthemums, Tulips, Windflowers, Hibiscus, Flower Basket, Wheelbarrow and Bell Blossoms.

Toshi and the 20 trees

Toshi is picky about what counts as a tree. Mix any accepted types to reach the total.

Tree types that count toward Toshi's 20 trees, including tall pines, a willow, a spruce and tall bamboo

The tree items shown here are not accepted toward the 20.

Tree items that do not count toward Toshi's 20 trees, including mushrooms, a short green stalk clump, palms and autumn trees

Keepsakes

Each keepsake is a one-time gift at 10 hearts and normally cannot be bought again. Crown and Construction Hat are sold in the headwear section of the shop for 1 golden carrot each, and Small Lantern is sold in the toys section for 2. A keepsake you sold can be recovered from its registered entry in the Bunbook.

The icon grid below shows 30 of the 36. Panda Plushie, Daiquiri, Moon Cradle, Honey Jar, Birdbath and Small Lantern have no picture and appear only in the list and the tables.

The 36 keepsakes are Bonsai, Wheelbarrow, Snow Yuki, Yuzu Cushion, Mochi Cushion, Mini Peppo, Tambourine, Peach Bed, Stuffed Tiger, Wagasa, Bongos, Piano, Panda Plushie, Peanut Shell, Ramen Cup, Daiquiri, Bell Blossoms, Flower Basket, Green Ball, Maracas, Moon Cradle, Guitar, Big Mushroom, Honey Jar, Moose Plushie, Dotty Plushie, Tempura Cushion, Birdbath, Small Lantern, Sushi Cushion, Crown, Cloud Bed, Tart Bed, Tanuki Statue, Construction Hat and Sakura Parasol.
