All CRACK Console Commands and Cheats

To use cheats in CRACK, press Ctrl + Shift + ~ in game to open the developer console, then enter the unlock command given below. After that the console accepts the money, fly, unlock, event and camera commands listed below, and a last section covers reading your world's 6-digit keypad code from the log file.

Unlocking switches off Steam achievements, stats and leaderboards until you restart the game.

Spoiler warning: one command in the camera table plays the ending cutscene.

How to Open & Unlock the Developer Console

CRACK ships with a developer console that holds cheats, camera tools and commands that change the world. Most of them are locked behind a developer password.

1. In game, press Ctrl + Shift + ~ (the tilde, or backquote, key) to toggle the console.
2. Type unlock_commands 741852963 and press Enter.

Two more things to know:

• Most world and gameplay commands only work for the server host. That means you must be hosting, or playing solo.
• Tab auto-completes a command name, and Esc closes the console.

Commands Available Without a Password

These work at any time and leave achievements alone.

mute_pa	Mutes or unmutes the PA speaker announcements overhead

Player & Money Cheats

Command	What it does
motherlode	Gives your local account money straight away
fly	Switches fly mode (noclip) on or off for your character
inf_toolbox	Switches infinite toolboxes on or off and refills the ones you already have
tp <target_name>	Teleports you to the named target location

The amount motherlode gives and the valid tp target names are not covered here.

Unlocks, Bots & Progression

catalog	Unlocks every item catalog in the shops
bot_upgrade	Raises every robot you have bought to its top level
garage	Unlocks all garage terminals and opens every garage door
quarters	Opens the doors of all player quarters (bedrooms)
open_gateway	Opens the main Lab Gateway
task_complete	Finishes the current step of the Daily Work Order
simshift	Simulates finishing the current work shift
break_drones	Makes every drone break down

World, Time & Events

Command	What it does
time <HH> or time <HH:MM>	Jumps the game clock to the hour you give, such as time 14:30
toggletime	Stops the day clock, or starts it again
trigger_event <index>	Fires a world event chosen by slot number, such as trigger_event 0
heal_hotspots	Starts the healing of the egg hot spots
hide_egg	Hides the whole giant egg
show_egg	Brings the giant egg back into view
save	Saves the world manually
checkpoint	Loads the most recent checkpoint

Camera, UI, Endings & Debug Tools

audit_terrain	Runs a debug audit of the voxel meshes that make up the egg terrain

Finding the 6-Digit Keypad Code in Player.log

Your world has a keypad with a 6-digit code, and the code is normally found by searching for 3 clues hidden around the map. If you are hosting, you can skip the search: the game writes the code into its log file.

These steps are for Windows.

1. Press Win + R, paste %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Rafoli\CRACK and press Enter.
2. Open the file named Player.log in Notepad.
3. Press Ctrl + F and search for [Keypad]. The matching line ends with the code for your world, in the form [Keypad] 'PF_Keypad' (keypad_1) code: XXXXXX.
